Developed by Mateba, a company based in Pavia, Italy, the Mateba M2007 operates similarly to conventional revolvers, relying on the user's physical actions of pulling the trigger and/or cocking the hammer to activate its mechanism. However, what sets the Mateba apart is its distinctive barrel alignment. Unlike most revolvers, the Mateba positions the barrel at the bottom of the cylinder rather than the top.
