This G&G TR16 GMSII MK1 Light Weight Polymer M4 AEG Airsoft Rifle is mostly made of polymer, effectively reducing the weight of this Airsoft gun. It features a polymer M Lok system handguard with a 20mm Picatinny rail on the front, a polymer receiver, and a lower receiver with a skeletonized structure to further reduce its weight while allowing visibility of the magazine behind the receiver, giving the Airsoft gun a unique design. It also includes a metal outer barrel and muzzle brake, a polymer GOS-V15 stock with a 6-position stock pipe and rubber stock pad, a polymer pistol grip, polymer dual-profile fiber optic flip-up front and rear sights, a metal ambidextrous 90-degree short-throw selector, metal ambidextrous magazine releases, a metal ambidextrous charging handle, a metal bolt catch, a metal trigger and trigger guard, a polymer GOM V4 30-Round Magazine with a semi-transparent shell that allows viewing of dummy bullets inside the magazine.

In terms of internal structure, it features an Ifrit 25K Motor-Long Axis orange (25000rpm) motor, a G2 8mm ball bearing gearbox, a full teeth piston, a metal cylinder head, a double o-ring metal nozzle, a GATE ASTER II BLUETOOTH Electric Trigger system, and a GATE ASTER II BLUETOOTH MOSFET.
